SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS:
Determine areas where rats or mice will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where signs of rats or mice have been seen. Protect bait from rain or snow. For best results, remove as much foodstuff as possible from the area to be baited.
APPLICATION DIRECTIONS:
For Rats: Apply 2 to 8 blocks(4 to 16 oz. of bait) per placement. Space bait placements at intervals of 15 to 30 feet in infested area. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of bait for at least 10 days or until there no longer are signs of new feeding by rats.
For Mice: While wearing waterproof gloves, break each 2 oz. block into 3 pieces. Use one such piece of bait block per typical placement. Space placements at intervals of 8 to 12 feet in infested area. At points of extremely high mouse activity, two or three pieces of bait block (up to 2 oz.) or one entire block may be placed. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until fresh signs of feeding by house mice cease to appear.
FOLLOW UP(for Rats & Mice):
Immediately replace contaminated or spoiled bait. Properly collect and dispose of all dead animals and any leftover bait. To discourage reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborages as much as possible. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations. Regularly check the stations and replace bait as needed.
