Safeguard 50450 front-release 18" x 5" x 5" cage trap with a solid back. Great for squirrels of all types, chipmunks, weasel, rats, etc. Easy to set and bait. Bait this trap with peanuts, walnuts, peanut butter or your favorite professionally prepared bait. Paste bait should be smeared on a cracker or two and place all the way to the rear of the trap. DO NOT smear the bait on the triggering pan of the trap.

You want the target animals focus to be on the rear of the trap where the bait is placed, NOT on the triggering pan.

I've tried other brands and found this product to put up with all abuse except running it over with my truck. Have purchased many and plan to buy more. Great product and squirrels take right to it.
