I have installed several of these over the last couple of years and have been very pleased with the results; never had a call back. However, due to an occurrence on a recent job, I am no longer a fan of the product. I installed the product and within several days, the customer called back and said that they thought the birds were still getting into their dryer vent. I secured a glue board inside the exhaust vent & within 48 hours I had captured a large starling carrying nesting material into the vent. I believe the bird must have waited for the vent cover to open while the dryer was running, and let itself in. I had to install a Birdguard vent cover over the vent to prevent future entry. While I have been a big fan of the product until now, I can no longer install the product with confidence.
