WCS™ Zinc Valerate is a powder used by lure and flesh bait makers in the same manner as Sodium Benzoate Powder but its chief function is to stimulate lure and bait odors during the aging process and to stabilize them when in use.  It is also an excellent retarder-preservative of urine.  $16.00/oz.
The advantage Zinc Valerate has over some of the other preservatives is the amount necessary to adequately preserve a urine or bait.  A half-teaspoonful to a teaspoon is sufficient to a gallon of urine or bait materials.
Used much like a preservative in making either ground or chunk baits. It helps enhance your bait odors and stops them at their desired stage of odor.
