These traps work. Period. Usually a quick, clean kill with a "snap" - but sometimes it just grabs a leg and won't let go. Either way results in a dead mouse. I've fought with the old-school mouse traps for years trying to outsmart the little buggars, but most times they grab the bait and run without tripping the spring.
I've killed 8 mice in 2 days with these and only have 4 traps. Only once did a lil' bastard get away with the bait. The Jawz trap is brutal on mice. I threw all my other traps away. Need to get more of these.

It caught a rat, which is what we wanted. We were hoping for a quick painless death which wasn't the case. The rat got caught by the side, had to put the poor thing out of its misery in the morning. (We knew that was a risk, but hoped for the best)

On the upside, these never break like pretty much every other brand. Unfortunately, it's not a clean kill. I'm getting a lot of injured and still live animals that were caught around the shoulders. Obviously that's distressing to clients and cruel to the animal.
