With a new patented setting system, the WCS™ Easy Set Tube Trap is extremely easy to set and very effective! Constructed of 21-gauge steel, this tunnel shaped trap is 4.5 inches in diameter, 15 inches long, and is powered by a beefy double torsion spring. Used either baited or non-baited, the tunnel trap is a natural attractant to squirrels and other rodents wanting to run through it or hide in it. Once the squirrel reaches the triggering pan in the middle of the trap, and steps on it, the double torsion spring triggers the strike bar. When a capture is made, the squirrel is generally hidden from public view. There is a built in safety latch which prevents the trap from prematurely firing while setting.
IMPORTANT: Please stake down the trap to minimize possibility of theft by a larger animal, i.e., coyote. The WCS™ Tunnel Trap is a lethal trap, use special care when and where setting.

Rock squirrels (a ground squirrrel) were digging up my yard. Out of control were these little buggers. I got one of these traps; I didn't want to use poison. Baited them with the bird feed they love. Caught 5 squirrels in 5 days. They love to go into these things. Bye, bye...

I've used a number of traps in the past, mostly with minimal success. Two products from Wildlife Control Supplies were recommended to me by the professional animal control person who's been working for me. This trap has been great: easy to use (though with some caution) and successful in catching two squirrels who insisted on digging under my foundation. I have a feeling that this trap, along with the two cages I also bought from the same company, has solved my problems.

This trap is easy to set and highly effective. It is not the easiest to release after the squirrel has been caught but I would still highly recommend it.

I had bought 2 traps from a competitor and the squirrels kept eating the peanut butter and peanuts that I set it with - but I never even caught 1. Ordered these and within the first couple of days caught 15 ground squirrels. The other traps were sent back for refund.

This trap is extremely effective for dealing with squirrels. It is easy to set and results in a quick kill.
I baited with peanut butter on the inside of the tube above the trigger plate as recommended in the directions. Despite a generous amount of peanut butter, it didn't entice many squirrels. I tried putting peanut butter on the plate and added small pieces of walnut in the tube and that was irresistible. The first day I added walnuts I had 9 less tree rats eating my apples.
I also added a piece of red ribbon the strike bar so I can easily see from 100' if the trap has been tripped.
My son turned me onto this trap. He has an older model and the new version is much better. Easy to set with adjustable trigger sensitivity.

This trap was very effective in eliminating the target squirrel less than 24 hours after it was set. Far easier than trapping and dealing with the live squirrel.

Squirrels were "plowing my yard," and eating the grass seed I planted to rehabilitate it. A Havahart live trap caught some but then the squirrels, especially two large ones, seemed to "wise up" to that. So I turned to this trap. And it has been great! Using peanut butter, I can't seem to keep them out! Very easy to set, and very productive. I put some additional seed down yesterday, and caught my main nemesis this morning, as distinguished by its color. Customer assistance has been great in two calls. Can't recommend this enough for anyone having squirrel problems!

I have 50+ tube traps and have used them for years. They are my go-to squirrel traps. When the Easy Set came out, it was like going from Chevy to Maserati. What an amazing upgrade. Trigger sensitivity adjustment, ridges in the tube to decrease tube deformation (by savage baggage handlers), zero clearance kill bar, and of course one-handed setting. This is the best of the best.
