RTS Heavy Duty Trap Setter

A great USA tool for us old-timers with arthritic hands and broken wrists. I was surprised at the amount of power per stroke vs the squeeze applied. I should have quit struggling setting 330s years ago and bought one!

A couple years ago I bought a dozen Duke 330s. They were on sale. I could not set them with the setter I always used. I bought a magnum setter. A little better but I couldn't hold the setter closed and flip the safety hook. Hands not strong enough with the arthritis. I just could not set those traps. Thought I was going to have to junk them. Then as a last chance I bought your setter. Followed the directions and now I can easily and safely set them. Thank you for a great USA made tool.

A must have for quick, safe depressing of the springs especially in cold weather.

Great tool. I am older and have arthritis in my hands would not be able to set even the smaller traps without this. Makes even 330 size easy.

I ordered this setter after attempting to use a scissors style setter for my 220 traps; unfortunately the scissors style didn't have the length necessary to easily or safely set the traps. This setter works like a charm, very easy to use it's quick and simple and takes no time at all once you've used it a few times.

Very well built to last for years. I don't have hands but use prosthetic hooks and I can set any body grip trap out there. Also removing beaver, groundhogs, raccoon, etc. from traps is effortless and it is the safest way to handle these traps.

So much better than scissor style trap setters! safer, easier to use and more versatile. I just received it and its well built, not flimsy like a cheap caulking gun that you may think it looks like. I just set all my 330's effortlessly. Glad I saw you guys at Neils in Maine!
