Universal VentGuard™ by HY-C - Single

I got the metal mesh box to cover my dryer vent and keep out pests from wasps to chipmunks. It was simple to order and arrived promptly. The installation was self explanatory, just be aware, there are no screws included. So, you'll need your own. Length will depend on the underlying surface material and thickness. Mine required a small board to compensate for overlapping siding, but overall it was quick and easy.

We have had trouble with squirrels and mice eating through the plastic vent guards and getting into the cabin. We purchased these metal vent guards to prevent “break-ins”. They were less expensive than elsewhere, came in a very timely manner and appear very sturdy. We have put them up on all our outside vents and are looking forward to a critter free winter.

Good material box was a little bruised but cage was fine. Installed easily. Now I can finally stop worrying about plastic vent guards

Product is good but when they arrive, they are always stuck together and really hard to separate without bending the flaps. Maybe add something to separate each one.

Went to big box store for dryer vent guard, all plastic so I searched online and found several places that had critter guards similar to this one. This was the best price so I got it. When it arrived in just a couple days, I was glad that it felt like it would stand up to anything in our neck of the woods. If I could ask for anything different, it would be to add another inch width and height. In our opening, someone knocked out the bricks more than needed so our opening is larger than it should be. I'm very glad to have found this guard.

Works great the birds have been back but have not been able to defeat it. Love it f the birds.

The bathroom exhaust fan vents on my home became a shelter for small birds after my neighbor put up a bunch of bird feeders. After installing two of these, all of the birds are now infesting a different neighbor's house. Very pleased with the results.
