WCS™ Multi Catch Sparrow Trap

Using millet seeds to catch an overabundance of house sparrows. Have learned to put some seeds in first chamber and more in second and put some leading into side holes. Have caught 8 so far in a couple of weeks leaving it outside only a few hours/day because am catching and releasing lots of chipmunks as they are eating the seeds. Really scratched up my arm the first couple times I tried to catch the sparrows (several escaped) because the area you put your arm thru has very sharp edges. I have duct taped the edges and that really helps.

I did not get any Birds yet but I got Two Rates and I'm happy with that.

It works! This is the third different trap I've bought this season in attempt to control sparrows. One hasn't caught anything, one works so-so, but this one is really effective. I get several sparrows every day.

Set my trap out under my trampoline and all I had to bait it with at the time was some corn chips. So I crushed them up well and sprinkled them around the trap and caught 14 sparrows in 3 days. This trap works Great if its put in the right spot.

Shipped quickly and a well-made trap. Catching 2-4 house sparrows at a time. Would definitely recommend this trap for anyone with a house sparrow problem.

Great product. Highly recommend. This product did the job. We have caught over 30 sparrows in a 2 week period. I got this for my husband for father's day and he loved it. We are now seeing all the native bird back at the feeders in our yard.

Patience required, but yes, it works. \nOccasionally 4 at a time but mostly 1 or 2. \nFine with me! \nNo more nesting in my attic!\nThank you WCS.

Caught 6 sparrows in one day, until my dog started knocking it over for the cracker crumbs. I need to anchor it, which should be easy enough.

I have caught five birds in the last week and a half. If I withheld bird food above and only put millet in the cage I'm sure there would be many more birds each day. Getting the birds out is a little tricky but build quality is solid!

This smaller trap has a no trap set mechanism that allows for the house sparrows to enter, but may also allow them to exit, as they have done in my trap. The bent wiring needs to be adjusted for the smaller size house sparrows in southern U.S. Eliminated four the first day, but had some problems catching native species, which were released. The homemade trap for $88.00 is a much better option if you would like to catch larger numbers of them. It also works better.
