These are custom made Stainless Steel #44 body grip traps. These traps measure 4"H x 3"W (smaller than a #55), are completely stainless, even the trigger wires. The joints where the jaws meet are brass fittings which are brazed together, much like the Jack Frost traps for those of you who remember them.

These traps have a very unique trigger latch with a positive locking dog. These traps were originally made for the fur trapper who operates in salt marshes and we are introducing them to the Wildlife Control Operator. These are great squirrel traps, buy them once and you never have to worry about them rusting. Very well made !!
