WCS is pleased to offer the ARMOR-COATED WCS™ Tube Trap™. The Tube Trap is treated with an electro-plating process which is olive drab in color and is highly rust resistant. No need to dip, dye, or spray paint these traps. Just pull them out of the box and use them. Will last for years. This tunnel shaped trap is a very effective squirrel and rodent trap. Constructed of 21-gauge steel, the trap is 4.5 inches in diameter, 15 inches long, and is powered by a beefy double torsion spring. Used either baited or non-baited, the Tube Trap is a natural attractant to squirrels wanting to run through it or hide in it. Once the squirrel reaches the triggering pan in the middle of the trap, the double torsion spring triggers the strike bar. When a capture is made, the squirrel is generally hidden from public view. The WCS™ Rust Resistant Tube Trap comes with a built in safety latch to prevent the trap from prematurely firing while setting.

Product Features

  • Electro-plating, armor-coated
  • 21-gauge steel
  • 4.5" in diameter x 15" long
  • Built-in safety latch

IMPORTANTPlease stake down the trap to minimize possibility of theft by a larger animal, i.e., coyote.

80% Kill Ratio
Richard | June 26th, 2022
The trap is extremely effective in catching squirrels on my fence top. However, it is not always a quick kill and I have had to finish off live ones in the trap. Not pleasant. The optional tool for setting the trap is worth buying as the spring is not easy to set without it.

Freakin incredible!

Ok! If you've been looking for an affordable and reliable trap to rid yourself of those pesky squirrels, look no further! Just order this thing, sprinkle a little black oil sunflower seeds on the pan, and let the trap do its job! This trap provides humane, secure, instant kill. This trap is the ticket to squirrel freedom!!

great traps
Jim | June 15th, 2022
I did oil the screw for the pan trap make sure it moves freely and once you adjust the trigger so it can be tripped works great. I put it next to box traps same bait the squirrels seem to go into the tube rather then a box trap.

Highly Effective Trap
Olenordmann | May 9th, 2022
Caught a squirrel each time I put it out. Baited only with peanut butter above the trigger as recommended. Great investment for critter control. Highly recommended.

Homeowner over run with squirrels
MICHAEL Suter | April 27th, 2022
Took a big chance on ordering three of these having never used a lethal trap before. I found a video on these and was convinced it was worth trying. First time buyer from WCS and very pleased by product and delivery, I live in central Florida. I found setting it a real challenge as I am 74 and not in the best of physical shape. My biggest problem of course is setting the trigger, the video makes it look easy but trust me it takes some practice and a few prayers not to lose a finger. During my first week I had one squirrel escape and killed two. I have used the hazel nut bait and walnuts I forgot about and was three years in a freezer. One kill on the hazel nut bait and one on walnuts. I have eight medium sized mango trees in my yard and set the three at the base of the trunks of three trees. Bought the end caps wish I could just get the blanked off cap but not offered. " HINT ".\nMy plan is to exterminate as many as I can before my trees start dropping fruit for harvest. I highly recommend this trap even for first time old, exasperated homeowners. Just be very, very careful as to how you set the trap. I intend to buy some all-weather plywood to bolt the traps onto the wood to keep it stable while setting the traps. Those springs are truly very strong and frankly scare the h_ll out of me when I try to set the trigger. WARNING always set the safety latch before trying to set that trigger mechanism and don't bait it when it is armed to operate even if the safety latch is set. This trap is brutal and very effective. I intend to buy five more of these one for each tree as soon as I catch get them in my budget and verify using a fixed plywood square works to keep the trap fixed when i want to set the trigger. Thanks, WCS for solving my problem

Difficult To Trigger
Patrick | April 7th, 2022
I run a nuisance wildlife removal business and use various types of traps and set-ups. I decide to purchase 2 of these and try them out. I do like the idea, but the trigger is way too difficult to set off. I adjusted the pan to where it was barely holding on and I couldn't set the trap off without banging it hard with a stick.

As soon as warmed up enough, got em!
Dave King | February 9th, 2022
This thing worked perfectly. Have had squirrels get in my soffit and then in a wall. When it was warm enough for them to roam around the yard, got 2 of them in 2 days. Worked better w/ peanut butter.

Does the job
Ken | December 7th, 2021
Sturdy construction. Easy to operate. Successful in our mission to eradicate the bushy tailed rodents from our vicinity.\nDay one: Screwed the trap to the top of the cedar fence, placed some food on top of the fence leading to the trap and inside the trap. Did not set the trap, just established it as a place to get some food.\nDay two, replenished the food supply, pulled the handle down, and set the trap. 10 Minutes later, heard a metallic "chunk" sound.; dead squirrel. Disposed of said dead squirrel, and reset the trap. 15 mins later, another dead squirrel to add to our collection. Reset the trap.\n\nDay three: Another dead squirrel. \n\nVery effective, I'm pleased with this purchase.
