WCS is pleased to offer the ARMOR-COATED WCS™ Tube Trap™. The Tube Trap is treated with an electro-plating process which is olive drab in color and is highly rust resistant. No need to dip, dye, or spray paint these traps. Just pull them out of the box and use them. Will last for years. This tunnel shaped trap is a very effective squirrel and rodent trap. Constructed of 21-gauge steel, the trap is 4.5 inches in diameter, 15 inches long, and is powered by a beefy double torsion spring. Used either baited or non-baited, the Tube Trap is a natural attractant to squirrels wanting to run through it or hide in it. Once the squirrel reaches the triggering pan in the middle of the trap, the double torsion spring triggers the strike bar. When a capture is made, the squirrel is generally hidden from public view. The WCS™ Rust Resistant Tube Trap comes with a built in safety latch to prevent the trap from prematurely firing while setting.

I bought this tube trap over a year ago on the recommendation of my pest control man. The house we purchased had a squirrel infestation in the attic. I caught two or three squirrels a day using sunflower seeds or peanuts until we had the infestation under control. Nothing works better. I came back today to buy one more tube for the root yard and end caps. The end caps are a brilliant idea to keep the opossums out. All in all, a great product. This is what you need to keep those pesky squirrels away.

So far so good. I used peanut butter on the inside above the pan. three squirrels in four days, plus a big old possum. I watched as one squirrel went in and once the trap sprang on him it was just a matter of seconds and he stopped moving. I didn't enjoy it, but the numbers of squirrels in our neighborhood is massive due to the fact that many people think it's "cute" to feed them buckets of sunflower seeds and corn. This is not natural foraging and throws off the balance of nature (so to speak). I have absolutely no problems with squirrels, but when they leave not one tomato left on the vine of 4 large plants, then there is a problem. I now just consider them "tree rats", which is rather sad.

I had a resident ground squirrel that, over time, had created a sand dune with an entrance to the burrow that was 7+ inches in diameter...a monster squirrel! The trap came yesterday, this morning I baited it with peanut butter and pistachio's, dug a shallow trench perpendicular to my back fence and near the burrow then set the trap. (I'm a 70-something gal with a bit of arthritis in my hands so I bought the trap setter and I highly recommend it.)\nI placed the trap with one end against the back fence, baited at the rear and also above the plate with a nut hors-d'oeuvre at the open end.\nFamily stopped by a few hours later and I wanted to show off my new trap - TADA! Dead squirrel already! I did a happy dance while my son disposed of the bloodless, very dead "at least 5-lb squirrel" (said he!).\nI've been fighting this varmint for months and she's gone! Hurrah!! I will set the trap again and again if squatters show up. (I'm sure it's a very lovely burrow down there!)

We caught 8 rock squirrels in 8 days. Highly recommend this trap to everyone.

I never write reviews but you have the best squirrel trap other than .22 head shot for squirrels I have ever seen. 11 squirrels in 5 days. I suggest that you close off one end as doing so forces the squirrel to go head first into the tube and step over the initiator plate. I modified mine and it works like a charm.

This is the second tube trap I bought from Wildlife Control Supplies. The first was the basic model. I've since reached a station in life where I can splurge on the finer things, such as the weather resistant model. Boy what a difference! This kills the bushy-tailed tree rats just as well, but with more class. My only regret is that I didn't switch to drinking PBR in order to save a little extra scratch and get this bad boy sooner!

Excellent to rid my backyard of pesky squirrels, I've caught two a week for the last month. Caution, will occasionally trap skunks and other squirrel sized animals. Adjust bait and location for best results.

Caught one red squirrel within the first 48 hours and then no more. Hard to believe the rest of the population figured it out so fast. Have to go back to sitting on the patio and shooting them.
