The Wildlife Capture 25' x 25' Drop Net is suitable for large scale capture projects where multiple animals of a given species, sex and age class will be targeted.
A large, square net is hung from poles in each corner, larger nets (>25' x 25') require a fifth, center-pole. Each corner is secured to a weight that is held in place by an electromagnet under constant 12V current. A wireless remote-control turns the power off to silently drop the net on your baited target. The net may also be held in place via pull-pins during set-up, and periods of inactivity or target acclimation. This does not require power supply.
Due to its silent operation, our advanced design allows for the capture of more animals in a smaller net than found in traditional systems. Replay the video and you will notice that the net is actually on the deer's back before she even lifts her head.
Completely weatherproof components, featuring stainless steel hardware with a UV treated net and Pelican brand carry cases, this system is built to last.
Everything you need is included in this system except the 12 volt power supply (We recommend Optima® brand batteries) and a hammer which you will need to drive stakes into the ground to support the poles and attach guy ropes. Operating time depends on the size of the capture net and quality of the battery. The net can be locked mechanically (no power needed) for set-up and periods of inactivity. A
quality battery that is fully charged will power the system for 8 hours. The wireless receiver has a 200M range.

Animal live-capture system used to capture a wide variety of wary animals. A capture net is suspended on four corner poles, one at each corner of the net. Larger nets will also require a centerpole. A 12 volt power supply (not included) charges powerful electromagnets to holdthe net on each pole. Animals are baited under the net. Once in position, a wireless remote control is used to turn off power to the electromagnets and the net falls. Animals must then quickly be restrained, hobbled and blindfolded. Our system is designed to be silent and reliable. Four sizes are available to handle a variety of management objectives.
Poles are cut to 4' lengths with internal connecting sleeves for portability and ease of use. The poles and connectors are shipped in a Pelican™ brand carry case. The release mechanisms are shipped in a separate carry case.
