KORO Rodent Trap - Stainless Steel

These traps are amazing. After watching how the rats would get around the system via the back, top, and sides, (I still got two from the sides with no misses) I installed a 1/4” screen on the back and then a drop-over that covers the sides and top… this forced them to the front and peanut butter at the back drove them crazy. It was over after that. I have removed 13 of them in the last month and a half (all outside) seen no activity for the last 7 days or so. I started with 3 of the steel ones but they did start to rust so I switched to stainless steel. The only thing is the hole on the pin was not as smooth so making them hair triggers wasn’t possible. I used a dremel to smooth it out and it’s been a cakewalk ever since. These also kill squirrels in a quick fashion. I’ve gotten 3 so far. Not sure if you want pictures, but here are just a few successful ones. I have videos of it in action as well. I actually reached out to the company directly and thanked them for these amazing products!

Bought for taming rats and works better than any other I have tried! Participants are EXTREMELY docile after treatment. I would definitely buy this trap again.

This trap is not sensitive enough even with the trigger rod stuck part way in.\nI put 1/4" screen on the back side and on the trigger pan to hold the peanut butter and sunflower seeds from getting stolen so easy with NO luck. This trap only caught one squirrel by it`s front foot so far! Coni Bear traps catch them 90 % of the time every day.\nI even caught 3 sparrows with my Coni Bear traps in one day.\nOne plus is the safety catch. It is a finger saver.\nI really like this trap but it just won`t catch them.\nAnother problem is with the" very small" cable loop on the end. It won`t go over my stakes.

I definitely recommend you buy the setter to go with this trap. Even with the setter it is still a bit hard to set the trap. You're also saving your fingers and not having to touch a dirty kill bar. I also recommend this trap over the new easy set version. The easy set is too sensitive for my liking. The original is easy to look at and see if the trap is set vs the new easy set. I had to dispatch a few rats with ordinary spring traps, but this trap that ensures a quick demise.

Pricey, yes, but stainless means no rust! Strong kill bar. Needs hardware cloth added to back to prevent animal from stealing bait without stepping on the trigger pan. WCS service was great! Speedy and efficient. When I ordered some rat trap covers for traps I already had, Mandy obligingly measured and alerted me that these covers wouldn't work with these other traps, so she just dropped them from my order for me. That's personalized service!

This trap works great and is very well made. Very strong spring. Gray Squirrels don't know what hit them.
