Split Drowner Locks can easily be added to slide wires or drowning cables after they have been built. It is no longer necessary to disrupt your entire slide arrangement to add a trap to the installed cable. Simply use a split drowner lock and close the bent tab over the cable, just as easy to remove a trap you'd like to change out.
