Higher Education Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The Applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (sophomore, junior or senior year) and have completed at least two semesters of study with at least one year remaining before graduation. The Applicant must be a full-time student in good academic standing (3.0 GPA or better on 4.0 scale). The Applicant’s parent, guardian or spouse must be working in the wildlife control industry, and the sponsor Company where they work, must be a member in good standing with NWCOA for a minimum of 3 years.
Application Submission Requirements
- Completed Application Cover Sheet & Financial Information Sheet
- Resume including current course of study and degree program.
- Current academic transcript. (copy acceptable)
- A one-page double space (maximum) essay describing an applicant’s professional goals, aspirations and how they plan to use their studies to contribute to their speci"c "eld of study.
- A one-page double space (maximum) letter of recommendation from student’s faculty advisor or teacher addressing the applicant’s progress in course of studies and/or research, and their demonstrated work ethic.
- Other supporting documents (research papers and proposals, faculty research participation, related industry internship participation, fellowship projects, industry work experience, etc.) can also be submitted, but not required.
- All document pages must have Applicant’s name, email & telephone number on the bottom of each page.

NWCOA Wildlife EXPO Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must currently be the owner of a Wildlife Control company or be a full-time employee of a Wildlife Control company (sponsor Company) for a minimum of 1 year.
The sponsor Company must be a NWCOA Member Company, who has been in good standing within NWCOA for a minimum of 2 years. Only one scholarship will be awarded per Member Company each year.
Application Submission Requirements

- Resume
- A half-page (maximum) write-up describing the applicant’s professional goals in the wildlife control industry and what they hope to gain from their attendance at Wildlife Expo
- If an employee, a one-page double space (maximum) letter of recommendation from applicant’s supervisor including feedback on their work ethic.
- All document pages must have Applicant’s name, email & telephone number on the bottom of each page.
