Here is a mole captured using a Pro Scissors mole trap. Notice the "sonic device" being used in the yard by the homeowner prior to calling for a professional mole removal service (s). Sonic Devices DO NOT WORK !!
WCS recommends the optional speed bump to expand the triggering area. Use in any type of soil, especially sandy.

Very affective trap but would be much easier with less missing if WLCS would sell the mole spade too. I have seen the mole spade used and it is a very quick and more successful when used compared to a set used without the mole spade. They haven’t had the mole spade available for sale in at least two years now…

I'm not sure how necessary these are for use in turf grass. They are certainly necessary for use in dirt/soil without heavy root cover. When used on turf grass, the bumps can make the trap a little harder to set but it does make for a sensitive trigger. For dirt setting, the bumps are needed.
