MB-550 2 coil Cast Jaw Trap has an outside jawspread of 5 1/2" and an inside jawspread of 4 3/4". The cast jaw face is 3/8" thick and the offset is 3/16". This traps comes standard with a Paws-I-Trip pan system installed and a night latched round dog. Pan tension out of the box is 2.1 lbs. on this double coil model. ONE DOZEN TRAPS

This trap is fast and excellent results were obtained using the double coiled version. The 550 is an excellent live market trap as well as the trap to use on a mixed species line. Small enough for fox and strong enough for the nastiest coyote.

If you don't plan on four coiling your MB-550's we recommend cutting the excess spring pins off , leaving 1/2" protruding from the trap frame.
