Nutcracker by Jameson is a fortified paste bait that spells "lunch time" for all species of squirrels and nut eating rodents. This is a rich nut flavored blend of the squirrel's favorite foods; an all- in-one unique bait. Smear some bait on a few walnut shells or a handful of acorns for eye appeal. Place bait in the back of your cage trap so traveling squirrels can see it easily. The sweet nutty fragrance of Nutcracker will do the rest. Does its job and attracts squirrels to the trap. Maybe too good of bait because I didn't think I had as many squirrels as I've trapped. I did mix in a little bird seed with it though. No complaints...it's doing its job! Worth the $

I used this bait for many years and bought a lot of jars of it. It WAS my go to bait, but not anymore. The last 3 jars I bought were not the same as they had been made for years. I called the manufacture and was told it is the same thing. But another person outside my company confirmed the same thing, that it did change. Its so dry that it cant be spread on bread without it ripping it up. I have also seen a decrease in catches as well. I was told that WCS must have sold me old product, but they confirmed that it was not old and the other new bottles were the same as I described. Its a shame that it changed as the old was so good. 30 years of trapping and this was one of my top 3 squirrel baits, but no more.
