The Necker #600 Fleshing Knife has a double sided blade and measures 23 1/2 inches in length. One side of the knife is duller than the other and is used for pushing, while the sharp side of the knife is used for shaving particularly tough areas on a hide. The Necker #600 has a poly handle on each end with a flared guard so your hand does not slip during use. This knife can be periodically re-sharpened to suit your individual needs and will deliver years of service.
The Blade portion of the Necker #600 measures 12 1/2 inches long x 1.25 inches wide. The blade is cold steel so should be kept with a light coating of oil on it to prevent rusting.
