The WCS™ Avian Spinner has been specifically designed as a visual deterrent for birds including, woodpeckers, chimney swifts, geese and additional wildlife. The secret is in its movement. Most stationary products on the market will at best only work for a short period of time before birds and wildlife catch on and ignore them.
The combined highly reflective flash of the product in association with spinning action creates a constant movement, thereby preventing birds and wildlife from causing property damage to your home and property. All of the components used in the Avian Spinner are of the highest quality available.
For long term woodpecker control, it is recommended that one unit be installed every 12-15 ft.

Depending on the amount of damage to your property, including structural, the Avian Spinner should be placed as close to the damaged area of activity as possible. For woodpecker long-term control and to prevent future damage, we highly recommend that more than one Avian Spinner unit be installed. In situations regarding Homes, Buildlings, Gardens, etc., there should be a unit installed every 12 - 15 feet. The mounting hardware is included and will allow you to attach the Avian Spinner to wood, metal or vinyl.
