Garage Door Jamb Wrap - Pair

Great little gap wraps on Texas garage doors. Our trim here is typically wood and will rot if it goes all the way to the ground. I installed these on my garage door along with a side threshold trim piece. I have seen a significant decrease of dust and bugs within the garage since installing these. When installing I did the following: I pre-bent a removed the excess length of metal to fit my trim. I then proceeded to cut and pull away the side sweeps to allow for the metal to slide underneath and wrap the jamb as needed. I drilled in my flat head screws to secure to the trim and then backed out the screws to then fill the screw hole with silicone and then re-added my screws to help prevent water from getting into the screw holes. I then caulked around all screw heads and made sure to have a solid bead of caulk on the topside and I even stuck my hand back behind and filled all unused holes with caulking. After letting everything dry for a few hours I primed and painted everything and it really blends in well and is only noticeable if you stop and stare near the trim. From the road/sidewalk cannot even tell they are there. Makes the garage look like a cleaner install. Since these have been installed I have not seen anymore large bugs frogs etc. in the garage as it is no longer easier for them to get in. Overall the best time I found to install these was when the sun was shinning on the garage door allowing me to use the sunlight bleeding through the corners to help identify the best location to install these. I do not see anything getting into the garage unless its fully open now. I highly recommend (I wish there was an option to get these ordered without the screw hole at the bottom only the top one and middle are really needed).

The garage door wraps were easy to install and have worked perfectly. I've installed them a couple of weeks ago and there's been no evidence that rats/mice have entered our garage. I have already recommended them to neighbors who are having similar challenges. 5 STARS!
