To use as a lure, place on a lure holder, such as a cotton ball, in the rear of your cage trap.  Place a large cabbage leaf or slice of melon for eye appeal to increase its effectiveness. 

To use as a trailing scent, check for nearby animal routes and trail the scent no more than 10-15' to your trap.

Dog Proof traps:  Dribble a little trailing scent around the set to keep animals hanging around.

Cage traps: Lay a line from outside the trap to inside the trap beyond the trigger pan.
