Safeguard Live Cage Trap with Slide Release Door. This traps dimensions are 36"L x 11"W x 12"H. Great for capturing the largest raccoon, woodchuck or groundhog, badger, armadillo, large cats, small dogs.

STANDARD SERIES FEATURES:

All traps of 24" and larger are made of Galfan® wire as opposed to common galvanized wire for a higher corrosion resistance, resulting in a three-times longer life.
Safeguard Traps are made with a heavy-duty reinforced spring-loaded door, to provide maximum performance and superior animal retention.
All traps include a heavy-duty bait tray designed to eliminate damage by trapped animals.
Safeguard Traps are available in a Front Release or Rear Release models for easier baiting and a safer release process.
All traps are made in the USA are are covered by a 1 year warranty against manufacturer's defects.

TIP: Bait placement should be all the way to the rear of the trap, beyond the triggering pan. DO NOT smear or place directly on the triggering pan. You want the animal to pass over and onto the triggering pan with their focus and attention on the bait.

Unfortunately, it seems like there wasn't a quality control review done for this particular trap. The sliding door is slightly too wide to easily slide up and down, and 1 of the 2 clasps that help to lock the sliding door wasn't aligned well. I had to bend the clasp for it to slip around the top of the trap to lock. I've been able to work around these issues to still use the trap, but was disappointed in having those 2 workmanship / quality control issues.
