Used it to prevent my cat from escaping or biting and scratching while trying to get her into the cat carrier. Worked better than a towel and it kept me from getting bit or scratched. Recommended for this chore. Note: Once in carrier, cat easily got out of the net so she could settle down for the ride. This was one of my concerns, but it was not an issue.

I bought the 6' version and it is pretty tough to throw over birds. If I had it to do over, I would buy the 4' net.

Excellent throw net. Very sturdy and durable and gets the job done. It's well worth the cost. You won't be disappointed in this net.
