Protecta EVO Express Bait Station is a heavy duty versatile rodent bait station. Protecta EVO Express Bait Station combines a single locking mechanism, an internal integrated concrete weight and a removable tray with locking rods that won't fall out. The use of a single key allows fast servicing and maintenance. As a tamper-resistant bait station it can only be accessed by the key. The ramped entries & baffles keep bait and traps out of reach of children and non-target wildlife for peace of mind. Protecta EVO Express Bait Stations are ideal for perimeter baiting and locations that need a secure anchor. Can be attached to a permanent structure or staked to the ground for added security.

These stations are waited to keep the wind from blowing it around and animals like raccoons from stealing them. The lid snaps closed and it takes the special tool or a flat blade screw driver to open. Inside you have areas to put formed poison blocks or you can mix up some form of powdered poison and put it in the center. Since these traps have a lid that latches closed, it is safe to use around pets and livestock. Unfortunately I did not find this company right away and purchased some traps from another company. When they shipped the traps they just put them in a box with no protection. Well after bouncing around on a UPS truck the cement like material inside the plastic traps shattered several of them. When I called customer service the said they could not do anything about it because I did not buy shipping insurance (blame me for their stupidity). When WCS shipped these traps they removed the cement like weights and wrapped them in bubble wrap and shipped them in a separate box. When the traps arrived NOTHING was damaged. I will buy from this company again because they have common sense when packing products they sell.

There are great bait stations because of the concrete base inside which keeps them in place from wind and other moments from animals. Stores lots of bait and easy to use. Comes with a key for secure access. The key can be used on all boxes of this type. I recommend this box.

Works great with trapper T-rex rat traps. I use these where there are large dogs or chickens that like to mess with the traps, they don't bother these. Very high quality.

I have one of these outside under my wood pile that is managed by a pest control service. The weighted bait stations are great to keep larger animals from moving or carrying off your container.
