Tomahawk Directional Nose Cones are great for trapping animals that have burrowed into trees, buildings, or underground. The special design of the Tomahawk Nose Cone makes it almost fail proof. The animal enters the nose cone as it emerges from the hole it has dug, and is funneled into the live trap at the opposite end of the nose cone. It is the animals only option. Tomahawk Nose Cones can be used with almost every Tomahawk Live Trap. When using a Tomahawk Nose Cone with a Rigid Tomahawk Live Trap, the nose cone opening should always be 1/2 inch to 1 inch larger than the trap opening. When using a nose cone with a Collapsible Tomahawk Live Trap, the nose cone opening should be 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch larger than the trap opening.
