Original Series Rigid Traps - One Trap Door
Tomahawk Original Series Rigid Traps with One Trap Door are available in many different sizes ranging from rat to large dog. These traps are designed for extra durability and strength.
Galvanized steel rods are welded to the wire mesh frame for extra reinforcement. The frames are constructed of heavy 12, 14, or 16 gauge galvanized steel wire mesh for maximum resistance to rust. Trap protection devices against animal damage include: pan stops on the trip pan, and a heavy duty trigger rod with heavy reinforcing O-rings placed around the trigger rod. A spring-loaded automatic locking V-door helps eliminate the chance of animals backing out of the trap before the door springs shut and locks into place. Tomahawk traps perform well at any angle, such as on a roof when secured properly. The special locking system and heavy reinforcement of the trap door helps prohibit animals from forcing the door open. A protective panel welded to the wire frame, under the safety handle of the larger traps, protects the wildlife control operator from animal scratches. The bait is protected with galvanized wire mesh to prevent animals from reaching through the outside of the trap and triggering it.
