The BWC Chipmunk & Ground Squirrel Trap is an economical, multiple catch, live capture trap. The built in nose-cone with integrated stakes makes placement over rodent holes easy. The heavy-duty construction will provide years of use. No baiting necessary!

This trap works best if you've seen the animal enter a hole. Immediately after you observe the animal entering, place the trap over the hole, driving the tines of mesh into the ground to secure it in place. This is called a "positive set" as the only choice the animal has when exiting the hole is to enter the trap. With no spring-loaded mechanism this trap is also completely safe around children and pets. Always pick up the trap by the door end - ground squirrels/chipmunks have been known to bite!

The pictures on the website dont do these traps justice. They are heavy duty and solid! Built to give years of service. These traps easily catch ground squirrels and chipmunks when used according to the directions. No bait is necessary! If you see the critter go down the hole, simply put this trap over it, and walk away for a few minutes. We caucht many ground squirrels using this method. We employ many different stategies and sets while working ground squirrels. This one of the most effective and gratifying. Set one over the active holes while making other sets, and you could be catching critters before you even leave the job!
